Early-access preview · iPhone release pending

Know the buy box before the drive.

DealLens Auto helps vehicle buyers, resellers, and dealerships review supported listings with transparent condition clues, reconditioning allowances, and target-buy math. You decide what to trust—and approve every seller message yourself.

The public App Store release and paid plans are not available yet. Automated listing coverage depends on approved provider access; no live KBB or guaranteed-profit claim is made.

A practical acquisition workflow

Fewer guesses. Better decisions.

The useful question is not simply “Is this listing cheap?” It is whether the asking price, condition, travel time, and verified exit assumptions fit your real buy number.

01

Start with your real radius

Enter a ZIP code, maximum drive time, and maximum asking price. Search supported sources and open each original listing.

02

Underwrite the whole vehicle

Review description clues, repair allowances, comparable asking-price signals, contingency, and gross-upside assumptions. Confirm every number.

03

Keep the conversation yours

Work back to a target buy range and edit a cash-buyer-style draft. DealLens does not send or impersonate; the user approves and sends manually.

Transparent sample deal

One fictional listing. Every input labeled.

This is a demonstration of the calculation, not a live listing, current appraisal, quoted repair, completed sale, or recommendation to buy.

For a real vehicle, replace the sample exit estimate with current, attributable market evidence or a value you obtained; replace repair allowances with a written local mechanic/body-shop estimate after inspection. Verify the VIN, title, history, fees, and listing availability before making an offer.

Illustrative values only

Expected resale valueIllustrative user-entered planning estimate; no KBB feed$14,500
Seller asking priceFictional listing input−$10,800
Repair allowanceIllustrative tire + body allowances; obtain written quotes−$1,400
ContingencyIllustrative risk allowance−$300
Transaction allowanceIllustrative paperwork / local costs−$650
Estimated gross at askBefore tax, financing, holding, transport and other costs$1,350
Working maximum buy for a $2,500 gross targetRounded down to $100; subject to inspection$9,600

Formula: exit estimate − buy price − repairs − contingency − transaction allowance = estimated gross. A fictional $10,800 ask does not meet this sample $2,500 gross target without a lower verified buy price or different verified assumptions.

Evidence before enthusiasm

Know what is—and is not—a source.

DealLens treats listing asking prices as asking prices, not completed-sale values. The planned KBB partner integration and localized repair quotes are not built into the public preview. These independent resources can help you verify a real candidate:
